It was called public school, believe it or not. Some school do have shooting clubs which teach the safe use of firearms. Also safe firearms training was handed down from parent-to-son. In fact, the idea of the Second Amendment is to have a trained militia was to prevent an invasion from a foreign force or an internal standing army if it should ever exist. That way you're not shooting each other or bystanders. I encourage a strong, proper training program. Even for home self-defense, it is a good idea. Thanks for the comment. They used to have that.
