A USA Today poll of May 4, 2010 indicated that 92% of Americans believe that there is a God and that 83% said that God answers prayer. 57% of Americans favored a National Day of Prayer. A poll reported by Rasmussen Reports shows that 67% supported a National Prayer Day and 64% believe that judges are more anti-religion than the founding fathers intended.
